Membership fee is $600 for half-year membership. Membership can be renewed every half-year.
Persons joining or renewing after effective period has begun are subject to fees of:

Guests are welcome to play for a fee of $50 per session (pending availability).
Membership privileges include court reservations (priority play time), feather shuttlecocks, game allocation. Future development includes coaching, and discounts off HKBC tournaments, competitions, and related events.

MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT
All members must read, agree and sign the following MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT with the Hong Kong Badminton Club prior to joining. Please download, sign, and bring a copy to the next HKBC badminton play time session.
By joining or renewing your membership at the Hong Kong Badminton Club, you are accepting all the terms in this agreement.
THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBES THE TERMS ON WHICH THE HONG KONG BADMINTON CLUB (HKBC) OFFERS YOU ACCESS TO HKBC MEMBER BENEFITS.
This Agreement contains all of the terms and conditions applicable to your use of our services provided to you through membership to HKBC. If you do not agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement, please do not enroll in the HKBC.
You must read, accept and sign all of the terms and conditions contained in this User Agreement, which include those terms and conditions expressly set out below and those incorporated by reference, before you may become a member of the HKBC.
We may amend this Agreement at any time by posting the amended terms during each activity session. All amended terms shall automatically be effective 14 days after they are initially posted. In addition, we will notify you in accordance with your enrollment contact information.
1. DEFINITION: 'Your Information' is defined as any information you provide to us during registration or subsequent modification of your account information. 'Play Time' refers to times when HKBC has rented and organized courts for HKBC members to play. 'Members' are persons who have applied and are registered for membership with HKBC.
2. MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY: HKBC allows one, single HKBC membership per individual. Due to capacity restrictions, HKBC holds the explicit right to refuse membership to anyone.
3. MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS: Members of HKBC are eligible to participate in all play times organized by HKBC within the period beginning 1st Mar, 2007 and ending 31st Aug, 2007. HKBC will organize at least one activity session each week unless prevented from doing so due to factors out of HKBC's control.
4. MEMBERSHIP TERMINATION: You may not cancel your membership at any time. Membership is non-transferable and non-refundable.
5. EFFECTIVE DATES: This Agreement is effective immediately upon your submission for a new or renewal of your membership to HKBC.
6. FEES: Joining or renewing membership with HKBC is HKD $600 for 6 months of play. Membership must be renewed every 6 months for continued play with HKBC. Payment must be made in CASH ONLY. Persons joining or renewing after effective period has begun are subject to fees of:

7. AD HOC MEMBERSHIP AND FEES: Each person who would like to join on an ad hoc basis will be required to pay HKD $50 in cash for each play time they wish to join. Eligibility to join on an ad hoc basis is subject to availability and granted on the sole discretion of HKBC.
8. CONDUCT: When taking part in HKBC activities, members will behave in a sensible and responsible manner. All HKBC members must treat all equipment provided with care and respect. Damaged equipment must be replaced by the responsible member. HKBC members are expected to behave in a mature and sportsman-like manner and refrain from disturbing games, swearing, or other disruptive behavior. HKBC has the right to deny access to play time and participation to anyone at any time.
9. SAFETY: All members wholly agree to indemnify and hold harmless the HKBC, its committee members, organizers, owners, officers, sponsors, agents, and affiliated organizations and individuals for any loss, liability, damage, injuries or costs incurred during playtimes and other events. Members are fully responsible for their own actions at all times. The club and its members take no responsibility and will not be held responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur during playtimes and other events.
10. PRIVACY: We do not sell or rent your information to third parties. HKBC uses your information strictly for internal club purposes only.
11. BREACH: HKBC may limit your activity, issue a warning, temporarily suspend, indefinitely suspend or terminate your membership and refuse to provide our services to you if: (a) you breach this Agreement or the documents it incorporates by reference; (b) we are unable to verify or authenticate any information you provide to us.
12. GENERAL: This Agreement shall be governed in all respects by the laws of Hong Kong. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or secure access to our services, and operation of HKBC may be interfered with by numerous factors outside of our control. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced. Our failure to act with respect to a breach by you or others does not waive our right to act with respect to subsequent or similar breaches. This Agreement sets forth the entire understanding and agreement between us with respect to the subject matter hereof.
